GENEVA, SWITZERLAND (02-07-2007) - Sister Judith Zoebelein, FSE, shared her insights on technology with other experts from around the world at the LIFT Conference held in Geneva. The LIFT conference is a yearly event intended to facilitate and promote discussion about new technologies and their impact on our society.

Sister Judith's topic, "Building Community - Actual vs. Virtual" addressed the challenge of finding real community to balance the tendency towards virtual life. As she began her presentation, a technical glitch resulted in her desktop photo "freezing" on the large presentation screen, so the audience enjoyed for a time a photo of the FSE Community on the steps of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. While unplanned, it was a visual representation of her main point on building community!
