MERIDEN, CT (11-26-2006) - In a ceremony of entrance into novitiate, Silvia Castellani, a native of Collestrada, Italy, was named Sister Angela Marie by Mother Shaun Vergauwen, Mother General, on Sunday, November 26th. This step follows a year of postulancy. In entering the novitiate phase of formation as a Franciscan Sister of the Eucharist, Silvia received the habit, cincture and veil of the community.
