MERIDEN, CT (10-27-2005) - Sister Jilda Marie Chabot, RN, BSN, a Certified Wound Care Specialist, was invited to attend an all-expenses-paid seminar in San Antonio, Texas, to learn the latest techniques in wound care technology. A manufacturer of wound care products selected 16 professionals from across the country to participate in the educational seminar. The meeting afforded an opportunity for Sister Jilda Marie to meet other professionals in her field and learn from their experiences, as well as to stay updated in the rapidly developing field of wound care. Sister Jilda Marie is a primary care nurse for Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care. She achieved certification as a wound care specialist in 2002.
