SILVER SPRING, MD (02-24-2005) - Sister Damien Marie Savino, FSE, received word recently that she is among 22 students nominated by The Catholic University of America for inclusion in the 2005 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Selections are made by campus nominating committees and are based on "decidedly above average academic standing, community service, leadership ability and potential for continued success."

Sister Damien Marie is completing a doctoral program in the fields of theology and engineering at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Her interdisciplinary research and dissertation concern the restoration of the Anacostia River waterway and the spiritual and pastoral implications of the project for those living along the waterway.
