Mother Shaun Vergauwen Elected to CMSWR Board

 

Sept. 8, 2004 (Meriden, CT) - Mother Shaun Vergauwen, F.S.E. was elected to the Board of the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious (CMSWR) by a mail-in vote held recently. Mother Shaun is the Vicar General of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist.

The Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious, headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a canonically approved organization founded in 1992 to promote religious life in the United States.

Mother Shaun and Mother Rosemae Pender, Mother General, have been members of the CMSWR since its beginnings.
