Franciscan Sisters Close Shaw Island Center

Shaw Island, WA (June 2, 2004) - After almost 28 years of service to the people of the San Juan Islands, the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist have closed the Shaw Island center. The general store, named Little Portion Store by the Sisters, has been sold to a local couple. The Sisters will continue to serve needs in the Pacific Northwest through the Bridal Veil, Oregon center.
