Franciscan Theme Camps offered in Idaho

June 25, 2003. Pocatello, Idaho

Franciscan Family Life Center is offering a series of theme camps for children ages 6-12 years this summer. Lots of fun and learning await these lucky Idaho children!

June 25-28, 2003. The Oregon Trail: A National Heritage
An opportunity of a lifetime: experience the largest voluntary migration in history, through reliving the lore, games, food and music of the pioneers. Spend four days and three nights on a wagon, horseback or simply walking along the path trod by thousands of pioneers on their way west. This camp begins at Family Life Center and terminates at Historical Register Rock in Massacre Rock State Park. (Children must be between 10 and 12 years old to attend this camp. Limit 12-15 children.)

July 30 & 31, 2003. Animals, Wild and Tame
Children and animals are natural partners. This two-day camp will provide ample opportunity for children to interact with all kinds of critters while learning about their habitat and unique characteristics.
August 6 & 7, 2003. Art from Nature
Exploration of different art media and techniques such as sculpture, painting and weaving utilizing things found in nature.
August 13, 2003. Fishing and Boating
Our most popular camp! Spend the day fishing and boating on our pond. Be prepared for loads of fun, splashing water and hopefully, lots of fish.
