FSPAs Give Icon Workshop in Michigan

An Icon Workshop was held at the Franciscan Life Process Center in Lowell, MIchigan, from May 5th-10th. Sister Maryam Gossling and Sister Karen Flottmeier of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration from the Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center in Hiawatha, Iowa, directed the workshop. Each participant completed an icon of St. Francis of Assisi. Painting was interspersed with prayer and study about the spirituality and theology of icons.
