The highlight of the recent pilgrimage to Assisi and Rome of the Franciscan Sisters and Brothers of the Eucharist was a private Mass with our Holy Father, Pope John Paul II on the feast of the Dedication of John Lateran Basilica. The group prepared the hymns and readings for Mass in the Pope's chapel. Following the Eucharistic celebration, each Sister and Brother was introduced by name to the Holy Father by Mother Rosemae Pender, FSE, Mother General. Pope John Paul II concluded the meeting by imparting his blessing to Mother Rosemae for the entire Community.
