Sisters Return to Holy Land Mission

December 30, 2001. Meriden, Connecticut

Sister Rose Mesa and Sister Naomi Zimmermann received the Blessing for Missionaries at a Mass on the Feast of the Holy Family, followed by the blessing of St. Francis from Mother Rosemae Pender, Mother General, before they departed for the Holy Land. The Sisters have been at the FSE motherhouse for the past several months due to health reasons.

In the Holy Land, the Sisters operate the Holy Child Program and the Holy Family Care Center. They are eager to return to their ministry to children who have been traumatized and to families seeking counseling.
