As we noted in our August 28, 2001 story on Sister Mary Elizabeth Endee and actress Marlee Matlin, Target Corporation's "Take Charge of Education" program would be featuring Sister and Ms. Matlin in a promotional campaign for education.

See the ad in the December issue of O The Oprah Magazine, the December and January issues of Rosie, the December 17th issues of People Magazine, American School Teacher and Education Week, and the January-February 2002 issue of Today's Catholic Teacher.

The dialog accompanying the photo depicts the values gained by both Sister Mary Elizabeth and Marlee Matin in their teacher-student relationship:
