Franciscan Home Care To Sponsor Wound Care Presentation

Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care is sponsoring a presentation on "Basic Tenets of Wound Care Within Home Care" for local physicians and health care providers. Lisa Q. Corbett, APRN, MSN, CS, WCON will present the basics of wound care and educate the audience on the latest techniques and ways of managing wound care for best results.

Recent advances in the field of wound care and ostomy management within a home care setting prompted Sister Jilda Marie Chabot, FSE, RN of Franciscan Home Care to propose this educational event. "The effective care of wounds has changed drastically within the past year and it is important that we as health care professionals keep updated with changes that can improve the lives and health of our patients," Sister Jilda Marie commented.
