Cre-Act Foundress Marks 60 Years of Vows

Sister Dorothy Prokes, FSE, Ph.D., foundress of Creative Acting (Cre-Act) and the Franciscan Cre-Act School, Pocatello, recently celebrated 60 years of religious life at a Mass and reception in her honor. Sister Dorothy, known nationally for her creative, pioneer efforts of using creative dramatics as a mode of education, holds a doctorate degree from New York University. She anticipates the publication of her new book about the Cre-Act method soon.

A speaker and educator, Sister Dorothy presents workshops for teachers on creative dramatics and its role in an educational curriculum, and techniques for using creative drama and improvisation in day-to-day classroom settings.
