Chapels of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist The chapels of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist are private chapels for the use of the Sisters. Occasionally, others are invited to pray with the Community and to celebrate special liturgical feasts. The presence of the Blessed Sacrament in each chapel centers the prayer life of the Sisters and provides the opportunity for the Community to schedule times of Eucharistic Adoration. Each day, the Sisters pray together the Liturgy of the Hours in their chapels. |

The chapels have special significance in the community life of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist. These sacred places incorporate materials that reflect the people and heritage of the area in which the Sisters live and work. The altar, tabernacle and other objects in the chapel are reminders to the Sisters of their Eucharistic mission to the people they serve. Over time, the chapels will be presented one by one in this section of the web site. The first chapel in the series is Carceri of the Northwoods, Cloquet, Minnesota. The second chapel is Presentation Chapel, Pocatello, Idaho. The next chapel is Chapel of St. John at Paul VI Center, Meriden, Connecticut. |
